Volume booster & audio booster
Make quiet audio louder.
Some videos, calls and recordings are just too quiet, even at full volume. SoundBooster amplifies them up to 600%, with a limiter that keeps loud moments from clipping.
This demo boosts a file you choose
Your file is played and amplified here on this page with the Web Audio API — it isn't uploaded. To boost other tabs (YouTube, Spotify Web, calls, streams), use the Chrome extension. A website can't change the volume of other tabs.

Adds gentle bass, clarity and width.
Catches peaks so boosted audio doesn't clip.
What the numbers mean
Percentages multiply the signal's amplitude. Perceived loudness grows more slowly: roughly +10 dB sounds about twice as loud.
| Level | What it does | Gain |
|---|---|---|
| 100% | Normal volume — no change | 0 dB |
| 150% | Slightly louder | +3.5 dB |
| 200% | Double the amplitude | +6 dB |
| 300% | Significantly amplified | +9.5 dB |
| 600% | Maximum amplification | +15.6 dB |
Boost safely
- Start low and raise the volume gradually — SoundBooster glides between levels instead of jumping.
- Keep the limiter on. It holds peaks just under full scale so boosted audio doesn't crackle.
- Very quiet sources boost cleanly. Audio that is already loud will distort when pushed far past 100%.
- Above 300% you'll see a warning. Protect your hearing, especially on headphones.
Your operating system's volume still applies. SoundBooster adds gain on top of it, inside the browser.
